Week of the Science and Technology - Robotics at the University of Cádiz (Spain)


The University of Cádiz (Spain) promoted several scientific events due to the Week of the Science and Technology (View news). 

Among these events, they were several conferences and robotics exhibitions. The robot Melanie III was there, showed during the conference "Those extrange robots" by Alejandro Alonso-Puig.

Afterwards Juan González (IeaRobotics) gave a conference on polypod robots, showing his robot "Cube Revolutions".

Javier Herrero, President of AMUVa, Asociation for Microrobotics at the University of Valladolid (Spain) and David Yáñez showed their sumo robots: "Panzer-II" and "The Beast", First and second position at the Sumo category in the contest Hispabot 2004.
